Your Tasks

• Strategic Leadership: Oversee the development of seven backend products, ensuring their alignment with our overarching business goals and strategic initiatives, such as the implementation of our global Omni-Channel strategy and the expansion of our Marketplace concept
• Team Management: Assume disciplinary responsibility for a growing team of Product Owners, reporting directly to the Vice President and collaborating closely with the Engineering Delivery Lead
• Vision and Roadmap: Planning: Responsible for defining the vision and roadmap of the checkout and payment domain, aligning with the strategic and business objectives of the company
• Performance Monitoring: Monitor the performance of product teams, set measurable goals, and guide the team towards achieving excellence, making key decisions to navigate challenges and trade-offs
• Innovation and Coaching: Drive innovation and cultivate an open, future-oriented mindset within the teams. Empower and coach Product Owners to effectively manage their products, lead their teams, and orchestrate their deliverables

Your Profile

• Experienced Agile Leader: Proven experience in a big Agile organization as a Head of Product or as a Senior Product Owner (m/f/d) with a deep understanding of agile principles and value creation in agile organization
• Business Sense: Excellent judgment in business matters and the ability to handle uncertain situations confidently and sucessfully collaborate with various stakeholders with different backgrounds and profiles
• Communication and Leadership Skills: Outstanding communication, presentation, and moderation skills, capable of handling multiple product teams and topics simultaneously, even in conflict situations
• Educational Background and Language Proficiency: A degree in Business Informatics, Business Administration, Computer Science, or a related field. Fluent in English and German. Knowledge of checkout and payment processes, accounts receivable management, finance, and controlling in a multi-channel retail environment

Your leadership will directly contribute to the strategic initiatives of the company, aligning with our global Omni-Channel strategy, expanding our Marketplace offerings, and enhancing service propositions like smartphone insurance. You will play a crucial role in the continuous improvement of our payment platform, introducing innovative payment methods and optimizing our Omni-Channel checkout experiences. As a visionary in our organization, your work will not only shape our product landscape but also drive our business success in an ever-evolving retail environment.
