Your Tasks

  • Create and develop a group wide digital media strategy in collaboration with country digital marketing teams
  • Implement best practice approaches in data driven marketing and ensure efficient execution of digital media activities in the post cookie era
  • Continuously develop and improve the performance marketing strategy, including KPI definition and reporting
  • Optimize digital activities in search, social media, display and video across all countries
  • Leverage insights from marketing mix modeling and analytics tools to make data-driven decisions for media planning
  • Consult (digital) marketing teams and directors of country organizations on all aspects of digital media strategy, data-driven marketing, performance marketing
  • Enable best practice exchange / knowledge sharing across markets
  • Close collaboration with internal stakeholders: Brand and Campaign Management, Media Buying, Category Management, Marketing Analytics and E-Commerce
  • Interface to Ad Tech and IT to ensure business requirements are implemented
  • Manage and oversee relationships with major digital platforms such as Google, Meta, Tiktok, as well as local media publishers
  • Manage external media agencies and service providers

Your Profile

  • Successfully completed studies in Business Administration, Marketing, Communication, IT, or equivalent education
  • Several years of professional experience in digital media planning or performance marketing on agency or client side in an international environment
  • Excellent project management and time management skills
  • Strong numerical understanding and excellent analytical and conceptual abilities
  • Strong knowledge of all types of digital media with a focus on data-driven / performance marketing
  • Experience in managing media agencies and service providers
  • Knowledge of media mix modeling and analytics tools

About Us

As part of the holding company of the MediaMarktSaturn Retail Group, the International Media division coordinates media activities across countries and manages them centrally.
The department is responsible for developing the global media strategy, setting up a framework for international management and cooperating with the media agency networks, international partners and advertising platforms.

 

The team works very closely with the media teams in the countries as well as with the data, analytics and technology teams and is the internal and external hub for all media issues in both the traditional and digital areas.
