Your Tasks

  • Establish a global, measurable Seller KPI Framework to define and assess seller quality consistently across all markets
  • Design and implement internal and seller-facing dashboards to provide transparency and enable data-driven performance management
  • Develop and operationalize a tiering and segmentation model to categorize sellers and align incentives, support, and interventions
  • Create a structured onboarding journey that embeds performance expectations and quality standards from day one
  • Define a fair, transparent enforcement and appeals process to manage non-compliance and support seller recovery where needed
  • Build a governance model to clearly outline responsibilities between global and local teams, ensuring aligned execution
  • Design and launch recognition and feedback mechanisms such as “Best Seller Awards” and seller advisory panels to reward excellence and drive continuous improvement
  • Internal: Marketplace Leadership, International Marketplace Teams, Legal, Global Customer Care
  • External: Third-party sellers, agencies, consultants (where applicable)

Your Profile

  • University degree in business, economics, social sciences, or related field
  • Several years of experience in performance management, strategic programs, operations, or enablement functions
  • Proven track record of driving cross-functional initiatives from design to execution
  • Experience working in matrixed organizations or across geographies
  • Fluent in English; German is a plus
  • Deep understanding of how to design, manage, and improve performance mgmt. systems
  • Ability to translate performance standards into effective KPIs
  • User-centric mindset to design intuitive dashboards for different audiences
  • A good understanding of the marketplace business model
  • Extensive experience in developing and rolling out new processes and frameworks
  • Ability to design high-quality, end-to-end seller/user/employee journeys
  • Holistic organizational thinking (e.g., to define global vs local responsibilities clearly)
  • Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills (incl. senior executives)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience in designing structured, educational programs
  • High level of empathy - to anticipate what (new) sellers need to succeed

As Department Manager Marketplace Seller Quality & Performance (m/f/d), define a global KPI framework, design real-time dashboards, implement a performance-based tiering model, and shape a structured onboarding journey.
