Your Tasks

  • Design and maintenance of statistical and machine learning models for demand forecasting and inventory optimization
  • Analysis of large-scale supply chain data (SAP, RELEX, sales) for trend detection, anomaly identification, and improvement opportunity assessment
  • Development of decision-support tools and dashboards for replenishment, planning, and inventory management
  • Collaboration with Operations, IT, Category Management, and other stakeholders for the integration of predictive models into supply chain processes
  • Monitoring and improvement of KPIs such as forecast accuracy, inventory turns, stock availability, and system usage
  • Leadership of research initiatives on new forecasting techniques, optimization models, and technologies
  • Support of automation initiatives for manual processes, including user training and change management
  • Contribution to continuous improvement through the identification and implementation of best practices

Your Profile

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s in Data Science, Operations Research, Industrial Engineering, Statistics, Mathematics, Supply Chain Management, or related field
  • Advanced proficiency in Python or R for analytics and predictive modeling
  • Strong SQL skills and experience handling large datasets
  • Knowledge of time series, machine learning forecasting, and inventory optimization techniques
  • Familiarity with optimization tools (e.g. Gurobi, SAS)
  • Strong quantitative and problem-solving skills, with ability to communicate complex analytics clearly
  • Collaborative, proactive, and adaptable mindset
  • Fluent in English, fluency in German is an advantage
