Your Tasks

  • Lead the centralization of the accounting processes in the Accounts Payable context from the different countries to our Shared Service Centers in Barcelona & Germany
  • Review current processes in the company to identify improvement areas and gaps to the standard processes, including a complete and method-based documentation with focus on the end-to-end perspective
  • Coordinate initiatives to standardize processes across the countries in close cooperation with our IT colleagues and identify best practices, including organizing and moderating workshops and the creation of decision templates and presentations based upon them
  • Design of an Accounts Payable Process Map based on a standard taxonomy in alignment with other Process Owner Teams
  • Continuously improve the Accounts Payable processes in close collaboration with operational units and IT, including the development of the target process and the supervision of the conceptual implementation up to the successful go-live
  • Analyse the impact of new business models on Accounts Payable processes

Your Profile

  • Several years of professional experience in a finance and accounting environment, ideally practical experience in process optimization in an international context
  • Proven structured and analytical way of working, able to take responsibility in project work 
  • Affinity for accounting as well as for IT, i.e. understanding of accounting and system-related contexts; knowledge of organizational processes in a shared service centre is a big plus
  • Good communication skills across departments and hierarchical levels
  • Teamplayer (m/f/d), pragmatic approach, "hands-on" mentality 
  • Business fluent in German and English, knowledge in Spanish is considered an advantage
