Your Tasks
- Designing the IFRS accounting policies of the MediaMarktSaturn Retail Group
- Being the international contact person (m/f/d) for recognition, measurement and disclosure issues in accordance with IFRS
- Supporting our national companies and specialist departments in the implementation of legal IFRS accounting requirements
- Preparing opinions on the assessment of complex accounting issues in accordance with IFRS
- Being the contact person (m/f/d) for our auditors
Your Profile
- University degree in Business Administration specializing in accounting/auditing or similar qualification
- Professional experience in an auditing firm (preferably in a Big Four) or in the accounting department of an international group
- Good theoretical and practical knowledge of international accounting standards
- Independent and autonomous way of working, strong teamwork and communication skills and a confident manner
- Fluent in English, German would be a plus
About Us
The Accounting Policies department is responsible for the International Accounting Policies of the MediaMarktSaturn Group in accordance with IFRS, as well as for accounting-related projects within the Group.
