Build and scale Media-Saturn‘s refurbishment business (incl. sourcing and refurbishment) through a robust strategy, best in class operations and disciplined execution. Phase 1: Expert assessment and scenario development to shape strategic roadmap and operating model.

Strategic Roadmap
- Market and competitor landscaping
- Scenario design: make/partner/hybrid models, centralized vs. hub-and-spoke ops, CAPEX vs. OPEX pathways
- 3-year P&L, investment case, and KPI framework (volume, yield, CPO, turnaround time, DOH, NPS, return rate)
Operating Model and Processes
- E2E process design from intake to resale: intake triage, grading standards, triage automation, refurbishment routing, spare part management, QA, serialization, and compliance
- Define partner strategy and SLAs for internal and/or external refurbishment, reverse-logistics providers, and warranty service partners
- Tech/Tools blueprint: WMS/OMS integration, RMA and grading systems, device diagnostics, serialization/IMEI control, data erasure compliance
Supply and Demand Engine
- Scale trade-in/buy-back programs (B2C/B2B), operator/OEM partnerships, bulk lot procurement
Risk, Quality, and Compliance
- Set quality gates, yield management, parts sourcing guidelines, data privacy (e.g., GDPR, certified data wipe), product safety, and environmental compliance
Execution Plan
- 100-day plan with milestones, resource plan, and pilot sites; define governance and cadence
Your Profile
- Proven success in setting up and scaling refurbished business incl. strategy and operations, ideally across multiple countries
- Deep understanding of refurb value chain, economics & KPIs
- Hands-on experience with reverse logistics, grading, quality & diagnostic flows
- Partner/vendor mgmt., SLAs, hybrid op models
- Experience with trade-in / buy-back sourcing and pricing mechanisms
- Knowledge of compliance & data erasure standards (GDPR, WEEE)
- Familiarity with required tools & systems (WMS/OMS, diagnostics, serialization)
- Experience with tooling/tech stacks: WMS/OMS, diagnostic tools, serialization/IMEI, tracking
- Ability to translate strategy into executable operating models, processes & pilot plans
- Proven success in internat. venture building / ideally omnichannel refurbed platform business in a retailer context
- Extensive retail experience
- Deep commercial understanding and proven experience in P&L responsibility
- Tech savvy, strong innovation acumen
