Your Tasks

• Installation, integration, administration as well as monitoring of network components of the core sites
• Planning, preparation and implementation of hardware and software upgrades
• Design, operation and further development of processes and solutions based on state-of-the-art technologies in close contact with manufacturers and vendors
• Consulting and support for other IT departments
• Planning, control and implementation of network projects as well as preparation of operational concepts
• Coordination, control and monitoring of external partners/providers
• Operational tasks at the campus Ingolstadt

Your Profile

• Completed studies in information technology/(business) informatics or comparable qualification
• Several years of professional experience in the network environment as well as profound knowledge of network technologies, especially in data center and cloud environment, LAN/WAN technologies and campus networks
• Detailed knowledge and experience with Cisco products and technologies like (Catalyst/Nexus/WiFi controllers, management with Cisco Prime, Cisco Catalyst (DNA) Center, Cisco ISE, Infoblox IPAM/DNS/DHCP…)
• You are always up to date with best practices and technologies
• Manage and ensure effectiveness of security solutions, including firewalls, proxies and other solutions in a multi-vendor environment
• Working experience with leading firewall vendors such as such as Palo Alto Networks, Cisco Firepower or ASA, Fortinet, Checkpoint
• Independent working style, ability to work in a team, coordination and organizational skills as well as initiative, willingness to learn and customer orientation
• Written and spoken German and English language skills
