Your Tasks
The Value Stream Owner (m/f/d) consolidates business priorities and vision from the VS Business Owner(s) and sets the strategic value stream vision, drives continuous development/ roll-out of products to maximise business value-add and optimizes value-driven outcomes across products within the value streams and leads coordination across value streams and relevant platforms.
Sets and nurtures the relationship with the key Business Sponsors and the other VSOs, to ensure alignment between business objectives and value stream goals. Essential to have strong business proximity and project leadership skills as well as sufficient experience with translating business needs into actionable technical solutions and to understand current technology and anticipate future trends and their impact on the value stream.
- Collaboration with Value Stream Business Owners (CatMan, B2B, S&S, Marketplace) for analysis of business priorities
- Cooperation with teams for capturing expected outcomes and timelines
- Representation of Value Stream interests to all stakeholders for ensuring fulfillment of business requirements and support for teams
- Assumption of overall responsibility for products, including development of relevant outcome objectives (e.g., OKRs) related to the products
- Monitoring of progress against Value Stream objectives to ensure alignment of work and priorities with business and Value Stream strategies and goals
- Coordination of activities across Value Streams to achieve desired outcomes for cross-boundary business needs
- Management of agreed scope with PO4 teams, planning and implementation processes; handling of blockers and search for solutions or escalation
- Coordination of resources, roadmaps, and prioritizations to achieve agreed business objectives across products within the Value Stream
- Management of cross-product dependencies and adjustment of scope to prioritize key features and internal dependencies within product teams
- Development of business outcome objectives (e.g., OKRs) based on business priorities (aligned with Value Stream Business Owners) and monitoring of performance, as well as escalation of critical business and technical blockers to stakeholders
- Delivery of products in alignment with objectives and monitoring of product milestones to ensure optimal customer experience
- Facilitation of transversal initiatives among agile and non-agile teams
- Sharing of learnings among product teams, both within and across products
Your Profile
- Severeal years of relevant Business experience in Commercial Area, e.g. Category Management (Assortment/Space/Data, Pricing, Demand Planning), B2B, Service Products, Marketplace
- Strong understanding of customer needs, market forces, compliance factors, and technical solutions that deliver business value
- Strong understanding of KPIs, Business Cases, Business Needs, Operations
- Ability to measure and track attainment of business objectives
- Understanding of lean and agile principles to improve value stream development
- Ability to facilitate communication between business and technical teams
- Fluent in English; German as additional language is an asset
- Strong communication, project leadership and change management skills
- Experience with technologies used within the value stream
