Your Tasks
- Leading the standardization of different country accounting processes in the Accounts Receivable (AR) context in our Shared Service Centers in Barcelona and Ingolstadt. This includes challenging the status quo, organizing and moderating workshops as well as creating decision templates and presentations based upon them
- Review AR processes still performed in the countries to evaluate their compatibility for a GBS-transition. This also includes defining reliable timelines for the transition together with IT product teams and operational colleagues as well as “translating” the functional requirements for IT developers
- Continuous improvement of Accounts Receivable processes based on the development of a target process and the supervision of the conceptual implementation up to a successful go live
- Analysis of impact of new business models on Accounts Receivable processes and coordinate their implementation involving all relevant stakeholders
- Maintain and constantly update the Accounts Receivable Process Map based on a standard taxonomy in alignment with other Process Owner Teams
- Ensure complete documentation of “as is” and “to be” processes in flowcharts following our governance principles
Your Profile
- You have successfully completed a degree in economic studies or a comparable apprenticeship and have gained several years of professional experience in a finance and accounting environment, ideally in the Accounts Receivable area
- You have practical experience in process optimization in an international context
- You have already taken on responsibility in project work and have been able to demonstrate your structured and analytical way of working
- You have an affinity for accounting as well as for IT, i.e. you understand accounting and system-related contexts
- Your good communication skills help you to find a common solution with colleagues from different departments
- You are a teamplayer (m/f/d) – characterized by your pragmatic approach to tasks and a "do-it" mentality
- You have a very good command of German and English
