Your Tasks
- Primary liaison role between Product teams and the Platform, ensuring seamless integration, translation of product needs into platform capabilities, and alignment of skills and capacity with business priorities
- Team leadership and mentorship of an engineering team, including support for professional development, regular check-ins, and guidance on performance improvement
- Leadership of recruitment activities, including hiring, onboarding, and offboarding, in collaboration with HR/Recruiting, as well as management of third-party partnerships and talent sourcing efforts
- In corporation with Platform Owner, Tech Leads, Principal Engineers community: technical advisory support for engineers on solution design, architectural patterns, and technical backlog prioritization, with an emphasis on adherence to platform standards and best practices
- Contribution to strategic platform direction, encompassing budgeting, resource planning, and long-term investment decisions for talent and technology
- Relationship building and cross-functional collaboration across product teams and the broader technology organization
- Creation of a psychologically safe environment that promotes open feedback, continuous learning, and team empowerment, supported by role modeling of desired behaviors
- Identification and removal of organizational and interpersonal obstacles to ensure effective and efficient team execution
Your Profile
- Engineering background with leadership potential or experience, preferably within a product- or platform-oriented context; bachelor's degree in a technical field or equivalent professional experience required
- Aspiration in people development with knowledge in mentoring, performance management, and team building skills (prior management experience is a strong plus)
- Understanding of recruitment processes or eagerness to develop expertise in talent identification, interviewing, and scaling of engineering teams
- Knowledge of SAP S/4HANA ERP and it’s modules such as Sales & Distribution (SD), Materials Management (MM), Warehouse Management Integration (WHI), or related SAP integration technologies is a plus
- Proficiency in agile methodologies and cross-functional collaboration practices
- Exceptional communication ability combined with empathy and relationship-building competence to drive effective solutions
- Strategic mindset, self-motivation, and hands-on approach with a strong impact orientation
