Your Tasks

• Development and maintenance of scalable backend services using NestJS, Node.js, and TypeScript
• Design and optimization of performant MongoDB schemas, including indexing strategies for large-scale datasets
• Implementation of robust REST and GraphQL APIs, background workers, and job queues with BullMQ
• Ownership of the complete software lifecycle: development, testing, monitoring, and continuous improvement
• Creation of meaningful unit, integration, and end-to-end tests with a focus on validation and reliability
• Consideration of architectural implications, edge cases, and cross-system integrations in all implementations
• Collaboration with engineering and product teams through proactive communication of progress, blockers, and trade-offs
• Contribution to architectural enhancements and system scalability
• Knowledge sharing and mentorship through code reviews and guidance

Your Profile

• Strong backend engineering expertise with a focus on TypeScript, Node.js, and NestJS
• Practical experience in MongoDB schema design and data scalability
• Demonstrated ownership mindset, with a focus on clean, maintainable solutions and critical thinking
• Emphasis on testing practices, technical documentation, and team-wide communication
• Familiarity with modern infrastructure, including CI/CD pipelines, Kubernetes, Grafana, and Prometheus
• Solid understanding of API design principles and experience with event-driven systems (e.g., Google Pub/Sub)
• Bonus: Frontend development experience with React and Next.js
