Your Tasks

• Take on the role of Product Owner (m/f/d) responsible for the cloud infrastructure of all new MediaMarkt and Saturn online shops
• Master the broad scope of the team around Platform Engineering and DevOps principles. Main focus on:  
  • Infrastructure Architecture 
  • Cloud Computing 
  • Webshop Cloud Network 
  • Webshop Cloud Security 
  • Webshop Serverless Computing 
  • Automation (Terraform, CI/CD/CT with GitHub and Actions, GitOps) 
  • Technical Enablement of Online Sales Channel Domain 
  • Resiliance, Scaling & High Availability  
• Be responsible, together with the team, to define an ambitious roadmap and prioritize the backlog accordingly to deliver a performant infrastructure 
• Work closely with more than 20 webshop product teams and other stakeholders (e.g., IT Security, API-Management) to ensure seamless integration across all layers of infrastructure
• Act as a sparring partner (m/f/d) and consultant (m/f/d) for neighboring product teams, providing insights into state-of-the-art platform engineering and infrastructure matters

Your Profile

• Hold a degree in Computer Science or possess similar working experience
• Have a basic understanding of cloud technology (e.g., GCP, Kubernetes) and cloud engineering concepts (Infrastructure as Code, Policy as Code, etc.)
• Bring several years of experience working in an agile organization as a product owner (m/f/d) or in a similar role
• Act as a translator (m/f/d) of business requirements into technical topics, connecting with the right experts
• Possess knowledge in Cloud Security and DevOps (an added advantage)
• Demonstrate a hands-on mindset and passion for working closely with engineers, embracing a "You build it, you run it, you secure it" mentality
• Exhibit very good English skills; German is a plus
