What You’ll Do:

• Dive deep into the retail world, gaining experience in areas like (e)Commerce, Sales, Merchandising, Category Management, and Customer Service.
• Work closely with our experienced team on real-world projects to understand the ins and outs of Commerce.
• Develop key skills in market analysis, inventory planning, and consumer engagement.
• Learn about the latest trends and strategies in retail, from e-commerce integration to in-store innovation.

Who are you?

We are looking for an enthusiastic personality to join our Commerce team at MediaMarkt Benelux based in Rotterdam. Furthermore:

• You have strong communication and organizational skills;
• You are full of fun ideas and are ready to make it happen;
• You are fluent in English and Dutch. French is a plus;
• You are a team player with a proactive mindset;
• You have the capability to handle different information at the same time.
• You have a WHBO/WO working and thinking level
• You are studying in the field of Commerce, Marketing or Business Management.

Application Process

The selection process is transparent and pretty simple:

• After being selected, you will be invited for the first of two rounds of interviews. 
• During the 1st interview you'll get to meet one of our Senior Talent Acquisition Partners and the Category Group Head. Ask all questions you want. Because we'd like you to get a clear picture of MediaMarkt Benelux and the traineeship we are offering. We will ask you some questions too. We like to get an impression of who you are and what it is you are looking for. 
• If all goes well from both ends, you will be invited for the 2nd round. During this 2nd Interview you will meet the HR Director and Head of Talent Acquisition & Employer Branding. They also want to get to know you and will give you some more information about this traineeship.
• Both interviews will take 45-60 minutes of your time. If you "ace" both rounds, you will receive our offer to join within 24 hours.
