MediaMarkt is seeking a highly skilled Senior International Technical SEO Manager to join our dynamic Digital HQ team. In this pivotal role, you'll own and elevate the technical SEO performance across 10+ international online platforms, shaping our digital presence and ensuring optimal visibility in every market.

Your Responsibilities
As our Senior International Technical SEO Manager, you will:
- Lead International Technical SEO Strategy: Define and implement a future-proof technical SEO strategy that addresses local market nuances while maintaining global best practices.
- Drive Country-Level Collaboration: Act as the go-to technical SEO contact for each country, building strong relationships and providing tailored recommendations and action plans. You'll take ownership of prioritizing, scoring, and solving technical SEO challenges.
- Ensure Website Health & Optimization: Conduct in-depth technical SEO audits and optimize critical areas like site architecture, crawlability, indexation, page speed, Core Web Vitals, mobile-first readiness, and structured data.
- Provide Technical Expertise & Hands-On Delivery: Analyze server logs, collaborate closely with developers on SEO best practices for builds and releases, and manage the SEO impact of all website projects and platform changes.
- Implement International SEO Best Practices: Guarantee each country's platform is properly localized, geo-targeted, and technically aligned with international SEO standards, including managing hreflang implementation.
- Monitor Performance & Deliver Data-Driven Insights: Build comprehensive SEO dashboards (GA4, BigQuery, Looker Studio) to track technical health and progress, proactively reporting risks and opportunities to leadership and stakeholders.
- Champion Continuous Innovation: Stay ahead of search engine algorithm updates, AI-driven SEO changes, and emerging technologies, proposing and implementing innovative strategies to secure MediaMarkt's organic search visibility.
Your Profile
- 8+ years of hands-on technical SEO experience, with a strong preference for international, multi-country environments.
- Deep technical expertise:
- SEO audit tools
- Google ecosystem (GSC, Analytics, Tag Manager, etc.)
- Log analysis tools
- Front-end technologies
- Server-side SEO
- International SEO: Hreflang implementation, country targeting, multi-domain SEO
- Proven experience leading complex SEO transformation projects.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence both technical and business teams effectively.
- An Agile mindset and practical experience with Jira, Confluence, and agile methodologies.
- Fluent in English; additional European languages (German, Dutch, Spanish, Italian) are a significant plus.
- A genuine passion for digital innovation, GenAI technologies, e-commerce, and international collaboration.
