What are you going to do?

As a Sales & Development Manager B2B at MediaMarkt Business solutions, you will be the bridge between the head office in Rotterdam and the sales organization when it comes to implementing the national sales strategies, coaching a team of b2b sales professionals, and drive the company’s b2b growth in the B2B sector. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify new business opportunities, build strong client relationships, and achieve revenue targets.

 

  • Report directly to the Head of B2B and work at the company's headquarters, overseeing b2b sales team activities in a specific region;
  • Provide sales enablement and support, assisting in daily operations and addressing process-related issues;
  • Ensure comprehensive sales coaching and training of B2B specialists in the field and at customer locations;
  • Most of the time on location visiting the different MediaMarkt B2B locations across the Netherlands and B2B partners;
  • Work 1 day in the week at the company’s head quarter in Rotterdam;
  • Offer support for larger accounts and tenders within the region;
  • Maintain operational control by managing performance and sales direction, including service operations and interfaces;
  • Collaborate with the back-office department, providing customer knowledge, data, and development insights;
  • Manage pricing strategies, ensuring appropriate project pricings and margins, as well as pricing for bundled and vertical solutions;
  • Oversee project fulfillment, ensuring the smooth processing of complete orders across different inventories (e.g., procurement, marketing, supply chain, legal, finance);
  • Evaluate market, customer, CRM, and sales insights to facilitate data-driven decision-making, leading to improved business performance;
  • Prepare regular reports on progress and forecasts for both internal and external stakeholders;

Who are you?

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field (Master's degree preferred);
  • Proven track record of success in a B2B/ B2C sector, B2B account management, sales and business development;
  • Experience with translating the companies strategy into an operational model.
  • Affinity with consumer and business electronic products.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills;
  • Good communication, negotiation, and presentation abilities;
  • Ability to analyze data and make data-driven decisions;
  • Proficiency in CRM software and other relevant sales tools;
  • Self-motivated with a results-oriented mindset;
  • Fluent in Dutch proficiency in Englishis highly desirable;
  • Enthusiasm for working in an dynamic working environment and willingness to commute on an ad-hoc basis;
