We are growing our Marketplace team!
Digital marketplaces have become an integral part of the e-commerce landscape. They are a daily playing field for brands, distributors, and resellers in our increasingly digitally oriented world. In addition to more than 1,000 stores across Europe—including 55 in the Netherlands and 25 in Belgium and Luxembourg—we have also launched our new digital channel: the MediaMarkt Marketplace. Here, we are introducing innovative concepts such as "Space as a Service."
Our Marketplace department has the atmosphere of a start-up, but the maturity and professionalism of a corporate organization. The Marketplace is part of an international community where MediaMarkt operates its Marketplace. You will work alongside colleagues from different countries like Netherlands, Germany, Spain, Greece, and Italy.

As a Partner Manager Marketplace at MediaMarkt Benelux, you are responsible for managing relationships with partners within your assigned portfolio and you guide partners through the onboarding process until they are ready to start selling. Your responsibilities include, among others:
- Introducing new segments into our channel;
- Identifying, acquiring, and growing the "reseller commitment";
- Launching new omnichannel services such as "Space as a Service";
- Acting as a point of contact for the internal organization and effectively resolving challenges;
- Building long-term relationships with our partners, acting as a trusted advisor and business advocate;
- Ensuring the successful and timely delivery of our solutions;
- Preparing and delivering business reviews on progress and performance;
- Achieving revenue targets and operational KPIs.
Your Profile
The ideal candidate possesses strong communication skills and has a passion for e-commerce. You have a commercial drive and you're able to fully convince brands to join the story of our Marketplace and the power of the MediaMarkt brand that supports it. You know how to connect with your counterpart Partner Managers from other MediaMarkt Marketplace countries to learn from their tips and tricks. By forming an international community together, we stand strong against the competition. Furthermore you have:
- A Bachelor's or Master's degree (HBO/WO) in business administration, management, or a similar field;
- Demonstrable and relevant work experience in an e-commerce / Marketplace / sales environment;
- The ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously;
- Strong communication skills in both English and Dutch (Dutch is a must have to be successful in this role);
- You are independent, take ownership, are passionate, results-driven, and a pleasant conversation partner.
