Your Role

As an intern in the Record to Report BeNeLux department, you will be responsible, together with your colleagues, for the complete administration of the BeNeLux region. You’ll be part of a fun and dynamic team of six people. The department maps out financial processes and optimizes them in collaboration with the responsible departments. Another important part of the department’s role is participating in other finance projects, such as setting up financial processes with other departments and disciplines at the head office. The department is responsible for carrying out financial reconciliations and for the correct processing and reporting of revenue and costs for BeNeLux.

As an intern, you will support the department in:

• Performing periodic financial reporting and assisting with the month-end and year-end closing;

• Analyzing, documenting, and improving financial processes and procedures;

• Actively maintaining all balance sheet accounts;

• Compiling annual financial statements according to Dutch, Belgian, and Luxembourg GAAP;

• Preparing and submitting tax returns and surveys.

Your Profile

We are looking for an enthusiastic third-year HBO (higher professional education) student specializing in Business, Finance, or Business Administration.

• You are hands-on and entrepreneurial;

• You are well-organized and work carefully;

• You have good knowledge of Excel;

• You enjoy working in a team and are also able to work independently;

• You love working with numbers and solving puzzles;

• You are eager to learn.
