Your Tasks

As a Finance Project Manager, you will take on a challenging role in a dynamic and constantly evolving organization. You will act as the crucial link between the finance department and data & technology, ensuring smooth collaboration and driving impactful initiatives. A large part of your role will involve improving internal processes, implementing automation, and being directly responsible for the annual financial statement process. This position allows you to interpret new insights, data, and technologies, and translate them into actionable financial processes and improvements.

  • Senior accountant with advanced knowledge of accounting and financial processes
  • Strong understanding of data and technology solutions within finance.
  • Responsible for leading and coordinating finance-related projects across the organization.
  • Focus on process optimization, automation, and managing the annual financial statement (year-end) process.

Key Activities

Financial Accounting & Reporting

  • Perform Register Accountant (RA) duties.
  • Apply and understand ISA/IFRS standards for financial statement consolidations.
  • Compile and review annual reports; fully responsible for the year-end process.
  • Support external audits.

Data & Team Leadership

  • Act as a bridge between finance and data/technology teams.
  • Ensure data quality and manage financial data effectively.
  • Lead small teams or project groups within finance-data initiatives.

Project Management Office (PMO) – Finance

  • Coordinate all finance-related projects.
  • Serve as a liaison between the business, local countries, GBS, and Germany.
  • Initiate and guide process improvement and automation projects.

Process Improvement & Advisory

  • Advise on optimizing financial processes.
  • Identify risks and opportunities within finance operations.
  • Support implementation of new tools, technologies, and automation solutions.
  • Maximize efficiency, compliance, and overall financial performance.

Your Profile

  • Senior finance professional- Minimum 5 years of experience in accounting and financial processes, including IFRS/ISA and year-end reporting.
  • Post-Master degree in Accountancy.
  • Analytical & Tech-Savvy – Strong in data analysis, Power BI, and Excel; able to interpret new insights and translate them into actionable solutions.
  • Hands-on experience with year-end processes, reporting, and audits
  • Connector & Communicator – Effectively bridges finance, data/technology, and business; able to coordinate teams and projects.
