In our Data & Analytics team, we are looking for a Data Analyst. The role includes:

  • Create and maintain an information infrastructure to empower organizational teams with data-driven insights for optimizing processes and business decision-making.
  • Data Analysis and Modeling: Analyze large and complex data sets to identify trends, patterns, and insights. Develop and implement predictive models and machine learning algorithms. Perform statistical analyses to support business decision-making.
  • Data Collection & Organization: Collaborate with internal teams and data engineers to identify relevant datasets, gather data from various sources (sales, inventory, customer feedback, market research, external providers), and develop & maintain a structured tables for easy access and analysis.
  • Data Visualization & Reporting: Create and maintain appealing reports and dashboards in Power BI to facilitate data-driven decision-making. Create compelling data visualizations to communicate findings to stakeholders. Develop dashboards and reports to monitor key performance indicators (KPIs). Present data insights in a clear and concise manner to non-technical audiences.
  • Data Products / Solutions: Develop scalable data products to address business challenges, achieve process optimization or improve decision making. Build and implement tools to enable business lines to maximize the value of insights and reports.
  • Requirements Gathering: Partner with organizational teams to understand their business needs and translate them into actionable data product/reporting proposals that scale across business lines and improve decision-making processes.
  • Collaboration and Support: Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand their data needs, provide actionable insights and support data-driven decision-making across the organization. Support data scientists and data engineers with data analysis, dashboarding and visualizations
  • Research and Development: Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in data analytics, machine learning, and artificial intelligence. Experiment with new tools, techniques, and methodologies to improve data analysis processes. Contribute to the development of best practices and standards for data science within the organization.
  • Technical support: provide (limited) technical support with settings in RELEX, PriceFx and/or or category management related systems

Your Profile

You are a builder. You love to set-up new ways of working, data pipeline & data projects and to embed those in the daily operations of the team. You get energy from seeing your colleagues use data products & you are an eager learner. You understand that the customer is at the heart of all our operations and you enjoy working closely with other departments to support our customers. For the practical requirements, we also expect:

  • Master’s degree in Economics,  Econometrics, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science or other relevant areas
  • 2-3 years work experience as data analyst
  • English (must have), Dutch (Pro)
  • Experience with Python/R and SQL a must
  • Experience with PowerBI / Looker
  • Experience with GCP / Google BigQuery (Pro)
  • Experience data projects and project management
