Your Tasks
As a Category Manager SDA (Small Domestic Appliances), you will play a critical role in optimizing our SDA procurement strategy, ensuring we leverage the best technologies while maintaining cost efficiency and strong vendor relationships. You’ll be responsible for the end-to-end category management of SDA-related products and solutions. Your expertise will guide decision-making processes, drive contract negotiations, and support our digital transformation. Your key responsibilities are to:
- Develop and execute SDA procurement strategies that align with the company’s goals and roadmap of the suppliers.
- Manage the SDA category like Coffee, Cleaning and/or Kitchen categories
- Conduct market research and benchmarking to identify trends, cost-saving opportunities, and innovations.
- Lead supplier selection, negotiation, and contract management to ensure optimal value, quality, and risk mitigation.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders such as finance, legal, online and our stores to understand business needs and align procurement strategies.
- Monitor vendor performance, ensuring compliance with contract terms.
- Analyze spend data and performance metrics to drive continuous improvement within the SDA category based on Customer Journeys.
- Develop and maintain relationships with key suppliers, fostering strategic partnerships and ensuring continuous alignment with business needs.
- Develop and maintain promotion and pricing strategy; to guarantee best offers for our customers.
Your Profile
- Bachelor’s or Master degree in Marketing or Business Management
- 3+ years of experience in category management or procurement
- Proven experience in negotiating complex contracts and managing supplier relationships.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data, forecast trends, and identify cost-saving opportunities.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Problem-Solving mindset to come up with innovative solutions that satisfy all parties
- Goal-Oriented Mindset keeping the ultimate goal in mind.
