As we continue to grow, we are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Supplier Billing Specialist to join our Finance team. The team exists out of a variety of people, different ages, different backgrounds collaborating together is a very nice and informal working environment. You will be working from our HQ in Rotterdam and from home. This role is crucial in ensuring accurate and timely billing operations, supporting our commitment to financial integrity and billing efficiency.

The Supplier Billing Specialist will be responsible for managing the billing processes towards our 2.500 suppliers, including the preparation, issuance, and tracking of invoices. This role requires strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will have experience in billing, accounts receivable, or a similar role, with a strong understanding of financial processes.

You will be handling the following tasks:

• Prepare and issue accurate invoices to suppliers based on contractual agreements.
• Ensure all billing information is correct and complies with company policies and legal regulations.
• Address any discrepancies or errors in invoices promptly.
• Monitor accounts receivable and follow up on outstanding invoices.
• Coordinate with suppliers to resolve billing issues and ensure timely payments.
• Reconcile supplier accounts and manage payment collections.
• Identify opportunities to streamline billing processes and enhance efficiency.
• Implement best practices for billing operations and ensure compliance with industry standards.
• Collaborate with the IT team to optimize billing software and systems.

• 1-3 years of experience in billing, accounts receivable, or a related role.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
• Experience with billing software and financial management systems.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Fluent in Dutch and English (both written and spoken).
