What exciting things will you do?
As a Last Mile Delivery Specialist/Lead, you will play a crucial role within the MediaMarktSaturn (MMS) Logistics department, dedicated to delivering outstanding last mile experiences for our valued customers. Your core responsibility will be to orchestrate timely and comprehensive deliveries and services, with the aim of heightening customer satisfaction while optimizing delivery expenses in accordance with our business objectives. What are you going to do?
- Oversee and manage the efficient execution of last mile delivery operations within the designated network;
- Cultivate and maintain effective communication channels with both internal and external stakeholders, ensuring key performance indicators remain within targeted parameters;
- Continuously enhance customer satisfaction levels through daily interactions and contribute to the optimization of financial and performance-related Key Performance Indicators (KPIs);
- Translate commercial forecasts into actionable last mile projections, collaborating with logistics service providers to ensure seamless execution;
- Monitor and analyze operational transport costs, net promoter scores, and delivery performance metrics of logistics partners. Metrics encompass first-time-right, first-time-delivered, promise fulfillment accuracy, and transport accuracy;
- Foster strong partnerships and maintain relationships with suppliers and logistics service providers, aligning their performance with MediaMarkt's overarching Supply Chain strategy;
- Proactively identify emerging market trends and capitalize on new opportunities;
Who are you?
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Logistics, or Business administration, coupled with practical experience within the retail sector;
- Exhibit a proven track record in roles encompassing order management, supply chain coordination, planning, or transportation;
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with proficiency in data analysis tools and techniques;
- Fluent in English; proficiency in Dutch or French is highly desirable;
- Skilled in implementing process improvement methodologies.
