Your scope of work

As an Intern Supply Chain Data Automation, you’ll help turn manual work into smart, sustainable automation solutions. Within our Supply Chain team, you’ll take on a hands-on project to automate the processing of store tickets in TESI. These tickets are created automatically, but still require significant manual handling by our operational team. Your challenge is to analyze the existing process and develop and implement a solution that automates as much of the workflow as possible using company-approved AI and/or RPA technology.

• Map and analyze the existing process for handling store tickets in TESI, identifying repetitive tasks and opportunities for automation
• Design and build an automation solution using company-approved AI and/or RPA technology
• Work with different business applications, including TESI, SAP, Excel and Microsoft Copilot
• Explore ways to connect systems and exchange information to automate the ticket-processing workflow
• Test, evaluate and optimize the solution in collaboration with the operational team
• Involve end users throughout the development and implementation process, gather feedback and support the adoption of the new way of working
• Measure the impact of the automation by tracking the reduction in manual handling time
• Ensure the final solution is sustainable, maintainable and ready to become part of daily operation

• Currently pursuing an HBO or WO degree in a relevant technical field, such as IT, Business IT, Automation, Data/AI or a related study
• Looking for a work placement internship. Please note that graduation internships are not available for this position
• Strong technical affinity and an understanding of how business processes work
• Basic knowledge of programming, scripting and/or process automation
• An interest in AI and RPA technologies
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify repetitive tasks and translate them into automation opportunities
• Able to independently design, build, test and implement a technical solution
• Good communication skills and confidence in working with both technical and non-technical colleagues
• A good command of English, both spoken and written
• You’re comfortable working with different business applications and quick to learn new systems
• You’re available to work from our National Distribution Center in Etten-Leur for at least two days a week, as well as once a month from our HQ in Rotterdam
• You’re available for 32 to 40 hours per week, starting February 8th 2027
