Your Profile

We are looking for a proactive IT student to join our ITSM Platform team as an Intern. The ideal candidate blends foundational development skills with a sharp analytical mindset. In this role, you will help bridge the gap between technical implementation and business needs—supporting the maintenance and evolution of our ITSM ecosystem for both IT and non-IT departments. This opportunity is open to students currently enrolled in a relevant degree program.

Nice to have

Data Fluency (SQL)

We deal with vast amounts of service data. You will stand out if you can:

  • Read & Interpret: Understand existing queries used for service reporting and data extraction.
  • Query Construction: Write medium-complexity queries (using JOIN, GROUP BY, and subqueries) to audit ticket trends or system configurations.
  • Database Familiarity: Feel comfortable navigating relational database schemas to find where specific information lives.

Programming Logic & Scripting

Much of modern ITSM involves automation. We value the ability to:

  • Code Literacy: Read a script (e.g., JavaScript, Python, or PowerShell) and explain the logic flow—identifying what triggers an action and what the outcome should be.
  • Algorithmic Thinking: Translate a business process into "If-This-Then-That" logic.
  • Basic Scripting: Write or modify simple scripts to automate repetitive tasks or manipulate data strings.

System Integration & Connectivity (API Literacy)

Our ITSM ecosystem relies on various tools "talking" to each other. We are looking for an intern who is interested in how these systems integrate:

  • API Fundamentals: A basic understanding of REST and SOAP architectures (e.g., knowing the difference between a GET and a POST request).
  • Webhooks: Understanding how real-time notifications work—when an event in one system triggers an action in another.
  • Tooling (Postman): Familiarity with using tools like Postman to test API endpoints, inspect JSON/XML responses, and troubleshoot connection issues.
  • Documentation: Ability to read API documentation to identify which "endpoints" are needed to fetch or update specific data.

Required Studies and Competences

  • Student in computer science, physics, engineering, business informatics or equivalent areas.
  • Available 15 to 20 hours per week.
  • Basic knowledge of any programing language.
  • Familiarity with development tools such as Visual Studio and GitHub. Fluent English and Spanish.
  • Team player, well-organized and detail oriented.
  • Critical thinking, able to challenge the status quo.

Why join us?

  • Get comfortable with ITIL frameworks and Agile methodologies, giving you a massive head start for any future role in IT Operations, DevOps, or System Administration.
  • Work with both technical engineers and business leaders, learning how to translate "I have a problem" into a "technical solution."
  • Use your analytical skills to turn raw data into actionable insights that improve efficiency for both IT and non-IT departments (HR, Finance, Logistics).

Gain hands-on experience working with API´s and Integrations—skills that are currently in high demand across the entire global tech industry
