Your Tasks
The Product Detail Page (PDP) team is a cross-functional product team within the Webshop department, composed of a Product Manager, Product Owner, Data Analyst, QA Engineer, UX Designer, and four Software Engineers. The PDP provides users with a detailed, single-page view of a product to support informed purchasing decisions. It presents product images, descriptions, technical specifications, ratings, related accessories, and more. Its scope also includes product configurators, a comparison tool, and a pre-checkout modal. Users can explore product details, choose a seller, select services and warranties, place an order, add items to a wishlist, and read or submit product reviews.
Your tasks:
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable web applications using React and TypeScript
- Build and evolve reusable UI components and frontend architectures with a focus on performance, accessibility, and maintainability
- Integrate frontend applications with APIs (e.g. GraphQL) to deliver seamless user experiences
- Ensure high code quality through testing, debugging, and continuous improvement (e.g., React Testing Library, Playwright)
- Collaborate closely with product, design, and backend teams to deliver user-centric and data-driven solutions
- Lead or contribute to feature planning, estimation, and implementation across multiple workstreams
- Drive improvements in frontend performance, developer experience, and engineering best practices
Your Profile
- 5–8 years of experience as a Software Engineer
- Strong expertise in JavaScript and TypeScript, with deep experience in React
- Proven experience building scalable and maintainable frontend applications in production environments
- Solid understanding of web performance, accessibility, and responsive design principles
- Hands-on experience with testing strategies and tools (e.g., React Testing Library, Playwright)
- Experience integrating APIs, ideally with GraphQL and/or REST
- Practical experience using AI and agent systems
- Ability to take ownership of features from concept to delivery
- Structured and analytical way of working with strong problem-solving skills
- Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams
- Experience mentoring other engineers and contributing to a culture of continuous improvement
- Fluency in English
