Your Tasks

The Search & Browse (SAB) team is a cross-functional product team consisting of a Product Owner, Data Analyst, QA Engineer, UX and three Software Engineers (1 Senior Software Engineer, 1 Software Experienced Engineer and 1 Software Regular Engineer).

The team’s focus areas include Search Result Pages, Category/Product List Pages, and Brand Pages, which present results based on the given search term and incorporate key features such as Sponsored Product Ads and Sponsored Brand Ads.

The team is looking for a Software Engineer aligned with this profile and a strong frontend focus.

• Develop new features for the webshop based on given requirements and user needs
• Integrating our graphical user interfaces with the backend service landscape
• Working closely with product owner, UX- and frontend engineers on scalable frontend solutions for customer-facing components and pages across the web shop.
• Conduct code reviews, debugging, and troubleshooting to ensure high-quality code.

Your Profile

Typical Experience 
3–5 years as Software Engineer or equivalent frontend development experience.
Demonstrates growing independence in delivering complex frontend features within cross-functional teams. 

Specialist Knowledge and Experience 
Builds and maintains production-ready web applications using modern frontend frameworks.
Designs reusable UI components and contributes to shared libraries and design systems.
Integrates APIs (REST/GraphQL) and ensures application state consistency and performance.
Applies accessibility, testing, and performance optimization best practices with minimal supervision. 

Planning, Organization & Integration 
Plans and implements features based on user stories and technical requirements.
Collaborates across frontend, backend, and design teams to align architectural and design decisions.
Supports sprint planning, estimation, and refinement sessions with accurate input.
Contributes to deployment, release, and monitoring workflows.

Manages own workload and prioritizes effectively in alignment with team goals.
Mentors associate engineers and supports onboarding of new team members.
Contributes to continuous improvement of frontend architecture, tooling, and documentation.
