We are looking for a motivated and customer-focused professional.This role aims to provide country organizations with better transparency, control, and cost optimization across their transport carrier invoices. The service supports organizations working with a mixed carrier landscape, typically including parcel carriers, white goods/large-item home delivery carriers as well as groupage and LTL/FTL transport. Initial focus will be on the Germany market.

What will your tasks be?

  • Initial scan of the carrier and invoice landscape by country/area
    • Collection and structuring of contracts, tariffs, rate cards, and surcharge conditions
  • Ongoing validation of billed amounts against contracted terms and shipment records
    • Identification of billing discrepancies and outliers
  • Follow-up with carriers on disputed invoices and overcharges
  • Tracking of recoveries and credit notes
  • Recommendations for operational, packaging, system, and master-data improvements
  • Support in defining a future-state validation or self-billing model

What we are looking for?

  • Relevant 5+ years’ experience in transport/supply chain or finance roles in retail/FMCG or similar areas
  • Strong background in logistics/supply chain environments, independent working style, team spirit, and excellent communication skills
  • Solid analytical skills, attention to detail, familiar with data-platforms such as Google Cloud/BigQuery/SQL. Knowledge of/experience with programming languages such as Python/R are a plus
  • Strong written and spoken English; German is a plus
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office, specifically Excel
