Reporting to Control Tower Manager, as a Control Tower / Supply Chain player located in Barcelona, your mission will be to oversee & execute the various activities related to Inbound - and Distribution Logistics Management.

Tasks

• Operational setup
  • Create and keep up-to-date blueprint of operational processes
  • Ensure team is in place and trained
     
• Oversee & execute
  • Carrier & Transport Management
    • Ensure compliance of logistics services (e.g. lead times, pickups, deliveries)
    • Performance reporting, root-cause analysis and continuous improvement
    • Cost control
  • Customer Service & Exception Management
    • Clarification of incidents and safeguarding of the value proposition in day-to-day business
    • Claims management for damages & losses
  • Account & Supplier Management
    • Supplier Management and KPI control
      • OTIF
      • Preparation of calculations for supplier contribution
  • The role may expand into other areas depending on the country requirements.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of work experience in Logistics, Transport, Supply Chain or similar
• Experience in leading teams and working internationally
• Self-starter with sense of urgency and persistence
• A drive for continuous process improvements and analytics
• A strong affinity and experience with analytics, inquisitive mind
• Languages:
  • Fluent written and spoken English
  • German will be valued
